ALL SHOWS ARE PRESENTED UTILIZING THE PLANETARIUM DOME!

Northern Stars Planetarium is an inflatable star theater that travels to schools, libraries, museums and various special events throughout Central and Mid-Coastal Maine. Established in 1987, Northern Stars Planetarium has brought the wonders of the night sky to nearly 20,000 Maine students every year. Using a combination of a star-projector, slides, video, music, and numerous special effects, John Meader, Northern Stars Planetarium Educator, can bring the magic of the night sky directly to your school or facility. He will make difficult astronomical concepts fun and interesting.

Northern Stars has two different planetarium domes from which to choose. The "Regular Dome" is 16 feet in diameter and can fit within the space of a classroom. It holds 25 to 30 students per session. The much larger "SuperDome" is 22 feet in diameter. It can hold 60 students per session.
